SUMMARYUntil recently the development of mobile training waslimited to the use of custom authoring tools and specializedprogramming. However, now, many of the major rapidauthoring tools have added options to provide mobilelearning solutions. In this research we analyzed the mobilecapabilities of each of these tools. Then, using a standardizedset of evaluation criteria, which included navigation, interactivity, and various media, we tested their compatibilitywith the most common mobile device platforms. The resultsof the study and recommendations will be discussed.
