2009 Summit Carlton Lamar Robinson - Presentation Transcript

    1. Sample pictures from the 2 nd Northeast Florida Economic Opportunity Summit By Dr. Carlton Lamar Robinson
    2. Dr Robinson’s Story
      • Five years ago I had a mission to contribute to the community and it began with volunteer efforts at the First Coast African American Chamber of Commerce, The Jacksonville Urban League, and The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce. A few years later I joined the leadership team at the African American Chamber. My personal vision was that of partnership, relationships, and community contribution. My cause was to contribute something different and valuable to the community. This event is one component of a broader vision on social entrepreneurship that I am pursuing. These pictures are a small sample if you missed it. We have videos and reports as well.
      • I am most proud that we had support from a wide range of stakeholders in the community. Those who partnered with us can share these moments.
      • Next year, I hope you will join me here in Jacksonville, FL to celebrate First Coast (Jacksonville) Black Business Month 2010. Contribute to the cause.
