This document discusses internationalized domain names (IDNs) and their implementation and use in Malaysia. It provides an overview of what IDNs are, how they work through conversion to ASCII using Punycode, countries that currently support top-level IDNs, and applications and benefits of IDNs. The document also discusses Malaysia's myIDN project to introduce Jawi, Chinese, and Tamil script domain names under .my, including development of a test bed and considerations for top-level strings to represent Malaysia.
