1. Midterm Reflections Essay
The thing I liked most about the first quarter was that we learned a lot more about the
French culture and how they actually live. The thing I disliked was that we had to move
so fast and some things I don’t understand but we have to move on to stay on track.
The thing I did well was that I kept up with my blog. Something that I didn’t do well was
doing all of my homework. I need to improve on learning my verbs and doing better on
the tests and quizzes.
I was exposed to some very helpful learning strategies. For example quizlet, our
blogs and digital portfolios. I think i’m in a good place communication wise, I feel like I
can speak the language and communicate with another person to a certain extent. My
strengths are that I love french and love learning to speak the language so talking and
the pronunciations of words usually isn’t a problem for me. My weaknesses are doing
all of my work on time. In the next nine weeks I plan to attend tutoring and to do all of
my assignments and extra credit on time.
