Paul Traub was a partner with both Tom Petters and Marc Dreier the $3 billion and $700 million Schemers now seized, sold and going to jail.

Traub confessed to false affidavits to the Court for years and deceiving the Court in the $300 million fraud of eToys after we provided irrefutable - Court docket record proof of Perjury.

The DE Dept of Justice gave Traub unlawful, implied, blanket, immunity in 2005 and then Traub with MNAT committed another $100 million in fraud that resulted in the Resignation of Director Friedman of the EOUST in Washington DC - the removal and planting of DeAngelis as Region 3 Trustee to General Counsel of the EOUST and now BACK IN as Region 3 Trustee - where we also discovered that the DE US Attorney (Connolly) was a partner with the MNAT law firm (who also confessed - being caught red-handed - to false affidavits to the Court).

False Affidavits and Deceiving the Court deliberately is perpetration of Fraud on the Court vis-a-vis Perjury and remains so heinous a crime the US Supreme Court has stated that there is NO statute of limitations (see case of In re Hazel Atlas Glass Co)

The SEC began to do an Official Investigation and the DE DOJ Ordered them to back off.

We reported all of this to the US Attorney in CA - where Pres Bush Corp Fraud Task Force was headed up - and that USA O’Brien summarily disbanded the Public Corruption Unit and Threatened career Asst US Attorney’s to keep silent (see L A Times Story 'Shake-up roils federal prosecutors')

Hey, former staff attorney in DC, wasn’t it Milken? What’s up with the Milligan stuff, dude?
  • + guest506fa5 guest506fa5 9 months ago
I can tell you as a former SEC Staff Attorney in one of their Regional Offices that the person who complained about being investigated by the SEC in the early 2000s is absolutely right. Everyone in the D.C. Office when I was there during the 'Boesky/Milligan' era was an absolute tool and careerist. My co-workers and I honestly felt that the 'enemy was within.' The bosses in our Regional offices were asses too. We had young no nothings in DC reviewing garden variety fraud cases that had been investigated longer than they were employed with the S.E.C. The fraudsters were be onto their 2nd and 3rd schemes bf we got 'approval' to slap them on the wrist with an injunction.

I’ll share one more thing which I assure you is not meant to in any way shape or form to be antisemitic, conspiratorial, or mean spirited. A large number, possibly a majority of the DC Attys with SEC were Jewish, at least when I worked there over 12 years ago. Again I point this out to note the INCESTUOUSNESS
of the whole affair as the person investigated points out,I mean we all know that Jews were the primary victims of Madoff’s schemes? I’m saying one reason for that was the revolving door between SEC attys and the larger M & A firms that are lead by prominent, respected Jewish lawyers. Again this is not a evil Jews tirade, Obama has show he’s morally challenged after all (see Daschle, Richardson, et. al.,) or Rep. Jefferson, and White Collar fraud is probably named after White guys after all.

Look at the staff rosters for the past 5 to 10 years if, again, your think I’m being anti-Semitic. It’s about relationships, that’s all.

I was personally being investigated by the SEC during the early 2000s, for five bitter lousy years. Having seen how viscious these know nothing, don’t understand the business pitbulls are, using YOUR tax dollars to enhance their own careers, in the ultimate conflict of interest, this is of no surprise. It is awesome to consider that while they spent millions to investigate a non starter, non event obvious false trail event of mine, that Madoff, Sam Israel, CDO squareds, CDS etc were going on is where you folks should be outraged. These people steal years of peoples lives, never bother to tell them they are done just to give the courtesy of giving people their lives back. Yet, they can waste time while Rome burns. Shame on these people. Why? All so they can get hired in private practice.Conflict, conflict, conflict. Christopher Cox, and your people, may you all burn in hell.

guestc03dde --I agree with you that greed lies at the heart of the Madoff affair --his greed and that of his investors, but I believe you should consider the potential effect of the death-penalty as a deterrent to those who are fully aware of their actions and persistently engage in such actions over an extensive period of time. For those high-functioning sociopaths (I’m referring to non-violent criminals here specifically) who would meet the legal burden of being 'of sound mind' --e.g. Madoff, Ken Lay, et al-- a zero-tolerance death-penalty policy might cause them to think twice.

'Is there any reason why Markoplos could not have gone public with his detailed accusations?'

Yeah. He details them in the letter. Basically, he’d never do business again. Pity the GS and Citi folks he name-drops in this... Hope they’ve retired already!

Is there any reason why Markoplos could not have gone public with his detailed accusations? Or did he? He might have saved a lot of people from catastrophe if he had.

The fallout of this ponzi has yet to be seen. We’ve already heard of 2 suicides, while thousands of others that were innocent are suffering silently. I have friends that have lost a lifetime of savings, they weren’t rich, in their late 60’s now, and must figure out how to work for the rest of their lives to have some kind of life. Unfortunately, they were investors and now all their investment dollars are gone. Their basics are now at risk home, insurance, etc...The death penalty is a deterrent that should be used in cases like this...we cannot have people even think that ponzi schemes are okay. It should be you create a ponzi scheme...you will receive the death penalty...it’s that simple. It’s a different world and one where it’s time to take a stand for the little guy.

I believe this maybe the biggest dose of truth to be uncovered about how politics and business work hand in hand, above and beyond anything politicians are voted into office for, this is basically part of the day to day business reason politicians even think of getting into the game of doing the peoples business.

The only reason Madoff was found out, was because he couldn’t be covered by the mass banking bailout, which I believe is the only thing keeping this an isolated incident...

There are honest people in this country struggling to stay in their homes who have been victims of frozen wages in a Trickle down economy geared for people like Madoff, and all of his friends for decades, with the republican led charge for deregulation now being realized for truly why I believe it was needed, but I don’t ignore any political party in this massive con that needed the cooperation of everyone,, the question is,, will Barrack Obama fold as every other politician before him has, that has run into the same thing...

Batman has been robbing Gotham city with the full cooperation of every politician involved, and now all are being forced to turn on Batman hoping not to be found accountable.. I believe they owe it to the American people to come clean, in the interest of the integrity of a civilization that is trying to get it’s act right and be more fair minded in an attempt to raise every American’s standard of living, not just the elite BM’s of the world.

I for one think the American have been being short changed for decades by these people who have benefitted from the trickle down con of the century, and we all need to vote for a hefty raise for ourselves, just like our politicians have done and then listen to all the squeaky clean politicians they send to the media to tell us why we they can’t, or they won’t go with it...
