    Why Not? - Presentation Transcript

    1. This is not going to be an easy presentation
    2. Sometimes is like selling a refrigerator to an Eskimo… …and believe me, I’m NOT trying to be funny
    3. One recent estimate has it that 30 million presentations using PowerPoint slides are made every day!
    4. Millions of people are also cooking meals or making love every day.
    5. Unfortunately, knowing how to use their tools does not make them big chefs or great lovers.
    6. It’s the same with PowerPoint: knowing how to use the program it’s just not good enough.
    7. Few human activities are done as often as presentations, …and as poorly.
    8. Brilliant sales persons, even brilliant account managers, are not necessarily brilliant PowerPoint makers…
    9. How many of their PowerPoint business presentations will be really memorable, effective, and persuasive?
    10. How many pitch presentations will really make that difference that will help an ad agency win against their competition?
    11. The best solution: get specialized help for your PowerPoint presentations* *call me, for instance
    12. Yes, to outsource costs money. Because it saves money!
    13. If you let me do it, you’ll avoid what the vast majority of PowerPoint presentations fall prey to: the Five Cardinal Sins
    14. Sin #1: No clear point The audience leaves the presentation wondering what it was all about and asking themselves: \"What was the point?\"
    15. Sin #2: No clear flow The sequence of ideas is confusing and leaves the audience behind, unable to follow, and asking themselves: \"Wait a minute! How did we get here?…\"
    16. Sin #3: No clear benefit The presentation fails to show how the audience can benefit from the information presented, leaving them thinking: \"So what?\"
    17. Sin #4: Too detailed So many facts are presented, including overly technical or irrelevant ones, that the main point is obscured, leaving the audience wondering: \"What does this mean?\"
    18. Sin #5: Too long The audience loses focus and gets bored before the presentation ends. ”Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz\"
    19. ... So let me help you with your PowerPoint presentations.
    20. They did.
