  2. 2. <ul><li>Scrapbooking- the hobby of creating compilations in scrapbook albums, such as keepsakes, pictures, periodical articles, etc.
  3. 3. Scrapbooking takes creativity and being able to think outside the box. You have to be able to go outside the normal photo album.</li></li></ul><li>Utensils of the trade<br /><ul><li>Scrapbooking uses pictures, stickers, ribbon, pieces of scrap paper and other fun accessories to decorate colored paper and or card stock in an album. Scissors are great for making decorative boarders. Photo corners are much more effective for securing pictures to pages than tape. Acid in tape eventually eats at photographs.</li></li></ul><li>Sizes and types<br />Sizes<br />Scrapbooks come in two sizes. 12 x 12 and 8 x 8 albums. Paper must be bought to the match the size of the album.<br />Types<br />Scrapbooks can be based on pictures or articles from magazines or news papers. The covers can be made from wood, leather, fabric, and some are knitted. <br />

Steps to take when creating a Page<br />Choose a theme<br />Choose paper, colors, pictures, stickers, ribbon, and other supplies. <br />Choose a layout<br />Secure the pieces you have chosen to the paper you have selected.<br /><ul><li>If you lay out your page and items you are going to be using then your time will be used more effectively. </li></li></ul><li>The end<br />02-16-10<br />
