Technical Sound Editor The Sound Editor is responsible for assembling and editing all the sound effects in the soundtrack to a film. This person has to make sure that all the sound he is using is in sync and that they are entirely confident in using that sound. Freelancing at £32,000 Editorial Film editor The Film Editor assembles the various shots into a coherent film, with the help of the Director. The film editor works with the raw footage, selecting shots and combining them into sequences to create a finished motion picture. This persons role is to make sure that the films budget is kept under control and that the actors pay is taken care of. The mismanagement of government regulations. Permanent full time job for £30,000 a year. Creative Director The director is responsible for supervising the film crew when on set of filming; making sure everyone is doing their jobs. He is also in charge of the controlling of content and movement to the films plot, directing the performance of the actors, selecting and organizing film locations, managing technical details like positioning of cameras, use of lighting and the films soundtrack. Each working day the Creative director will have a look at all stations and make sure that everyone is doing their work and are doing it properly. One day could be taking care of locations for filming and another could be concentrating on the films sound editing. It a all around job.
