  1. American Lee Hinson competes against Mauricio Pomme of Brazil in the wheelchair tennis.
  2. Jessica Long of the United States stands poolside at the National Aquatics Center in Beijing. She won the gold medal in the Women's 100m Freestyle, S-8 Class.
  3. South Korea's Jeong Ho-won, left, lines up a shot during the Individual Boccia-3 semifinal match against Greece's Grigorios Polychronidis.
  4. Kenya's Henry Wanyoike, China's Zhang Zhen (Centre) and Kenyan Francis Thuo Karanja hold hands with their respective seeing-guides during the Men's 5,000 meter race.
  5. Tang Qi of China cycles during the women's individual pursuit track cycling.
  6. Cho Jae-kwan of South Korea returns a shot against Andreas Vevera of Austria during the men's individual table tennis final. Vevera beat Cho 11-7, 11-9, 11-9 to win the gold medal.
  7. Japan's Wakako Tsuchiko, foreground, and Edith Hunkeleh of Switzerland, right, lie on the track while Christie Dawes of Australia wheels away after they crashed in the Women's 5,000 meter T54. As the crash resulted in only five of the racers completing the course, a do-over race took place on September 12. Amanda McGrory, who won bronze originally, came first the second time around.
  8. Sweden's defenders try to block Canada's David Durepos (Left) during the men's wheelchair basketball preliminary match. Canada beat Sweden 62-52.
  9. China's He Junquan jumps off the block during the men's 200m individual medley SM5 heat. He ended up with the silver medal.
  10. Dean Bergeron of Canada celebrates winning gold in the 200m T52 race.
