  5. 5. TO AN EXTREME ENVIRONMENT <ul><li>Project 4 From Local to Extreme Environments (FLEXE), is a deep ocean project led by Pennsylvania State University in partnership with RIDGE and InterRIDGE scientists. </li></ul>
  6. 6. DIRECTIONS <ul><li>Go to the internet and get on to the site, URL: http://www.globe.gov/projects </li></ul><ul><li>Choose: Project 4 Flexe (From Local to Extreme Environments) </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>Choose drop down menu “For Students” and pick “Research Projects” then pick “Student Investigations” </li></ul><ul><li>This page should be titled “ Plan a student research project” </li></ul><ul><li>Find and choose “Classroom activities ” </li></ul><ul><li>This new page will be titled “Investigation Activities” . </li></ul><ul><li>Scroll down until you find the gray box titled “Looking at Data’ from the Teacher's Guide” and find “Hydrology” in that section. </li></ul>
