The Digital Innovation Fair 2011 has just completed which was held July 06-09, 2011 at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novotheatre, Dhaka. This is second such showcasing of ICT initiatives by the Ministries, Government agencies and private sector. The Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh has inaugurated the fair as Chief Guest.

You will be happy to know that SoftWorks as a member company of the Bangladesh Association for Software and Information Services (BASIS) has been showcased their innovative two products. The first one is “AdarshaLipi-Dharapat-MySlate” which is an elementary educational application for learning Bangla alphabets, numbers counting and word tracing by using touch-based handheld devices and second one is the TheyWorkForUs - Constituency Management System (CMS) Portal which will be an integrated information and Point of Interest web portal for all constituencies of Bangladesh.

The Honourable Prime Minister had conducted a visit of our stall and has shown interest on the Bangabandhu Biography in handheld devices. The Bangabandhu Biography portraits the life and works of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who was a Bengali politician and the founder of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The biography contains a rare collection of 186 photos of Bangabandhu starting from his boyhood to death. The video section contains the speech of Bangabandhu on 7th March 1971. Active internet connection is required to see the videos. Most of the contents collected from reference album 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman - The Father of the Nation', published by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust.
