Lose wires and cables If there are lose wires
someone could fall and trip
over them, it could injure
them or the equipment.
Before filming make sure
all off the wires are neatly
tucked away so that no
one can trip
Electric shock Someone can get an electric
shock if they play around
with the plug sockets
Turn off the sockets after
using them and before
you pull the plug out
Water damage if it is raining or someone can
spill a drink on the
equipment and it will break
Make sure there is no
liquids near the
equipment and if it is
raining use waterproof
cover
Light damage If the light is on for to long it
can overheat and get
damaged
Be aware that the light
doesn’t get to hot
Back problems When lifting heavy
equipment and when sitting
down editing for a long time
it could hurt your back
Bend at the knees or get
someone to help you and
also have a break when
editing
Fire exits Everyone needs to know
where the fire exits are in
case of an emergency
Show everyone before
entering the room where
the fire exits are
Software damage When using the software
someone could make it not
work by clicking the wrong
button
Make sure that everyone
knows how to use the
software before starting
editing.
