  • 3. Customer Service Get a library card or receive help from the friendly library staff.
  • 4. Adult Services Our adult reference staff can help you on both floors with reading recommendations, reference and computer questions.
  • 5. Children’s Services Children’s books and audiobooks, computers, and weekly programs for all age levels.
  • 6. 2nd Floor Reference Desk Public and academic library professionals are available to help you with your information needs at the 2nd floor Reference Desk.
  • 7. Teen Services Computers, books, graphic novels and audiobooks for young adults plus monthly programs for teens.
  • 8. 2nd Floor Reserves and Circulation Desk View items on reserve and/or check out materials.
  • 9. 2nd Floor Extended Learning Center Lone Star College students can get tutoring assistance at the 2nd floor Extended Learning Center. Sign-up at the Reserves Desk.
  • 10. Computers, Laptops & Tablets Computers equipped with Internet, online catalog access, and the MS Office suite are available. We also have Laptops & iPads available for checkout.
  • 11. Computer Training Lab Free computer classes offered on a variety of topics including MS Office programs, computer basics, and the Internet.

  • 16. Study Rooms Multiple study rooms are available on the 2nd floor on a first come, first serve basis to individuals or small groups.
  • 17. Common Grounds Café Enjoy coffee or a snack from the Internet café located on the 1st floor of the library.
  • 18. Drive-Through Window Return books and pick up your holds at the drive-through window on the west side of the building.
  • 19. Friends of the Tomball Community Library Bookstore Browse our bookshelves for gently used books in hardback and paperback that you can buy at economy prices.

  • 22. Toddler Storytime Tuesdays @ 10:30 AM & Wednesdays @ 9:30 AM For children ages 18 months to 3 years old.
  • 23. Preschool Storytime Wednesdays & Thursdays @ 10:30 AM For preschool age children.
  • 24. After-School & Home School Programs Tomball Community Library offers a variety of programs for home-schooled children and for students to enjoy after school, including gardening and art programs.
  • 25. Book Discussion Groups Tomball Community Library has a variety of book discussion groups for you to choose from, whatever your age or schedule!
  • 26. 50+ Bus Trips From Harris County Public Library and Precinct 4 If you are 50+, join the Adult Services staff on one of these wonderful bus trips to local attractions and museums.
  • 27. SCORE Business Programs Quarterly programs on topics of interest to the small business owner or entrepreneur.
  • 28. English as a Second Language and Literacy Programs Trained ESL and literacy tutors work with students on a weekly basis at the library.
