Certificates are awarded to children who finish the challenge. Open to readers up to 12 years. During the summer we will be offering a range of activities at the library: Craft: Flying Saucers Thursday 5th August, 2.00 to 3.00pm Special Session: Dreamcatchers. Themed around children’s favourite books, with alien finger puppets and alien pictures. Thursday 12th August, 2.00 to 3.00pm Craft: Space Scape Friday 13th August, 2.00 to 4.00pm. Max 10 children. Pippins Puppets – all welcome Thursday 19th August, 11.00 to 11.45am Craft: Make a Space Mobile Thursday 19th August, 2.00 to 3.00pm Egbert the Space Explorer – he sings songs, tells stories… Monday 23rd August, 2.00 to 3.00pm Craft: Alien Face Masks Thursday 26th August, 2.00 to 3.00pm Board Games Come and play scrabble, ludo, draughts, or snakes and ladders! Monday 3.30 – 5.30 pm, Tuesday 3.30 – 5.30 pm and Saturday 10.00 – 1.00 pm Movers and Shakers’ A half hour session incorporating songs, rhymes and baby signing, instruments, bubbles and parachutes!
