I love art and really enjoyed your presentation. (Makes me want to take another trip to the Cincinnati Art Museum soon!)

I liked that your presentation was free of explanations and clutter, as many presentations are. It was neat that you were able to convey a message using the idea and what it represents, while reminding everyone the other categories. Cool.

I see what you mean about the red circles. I read the first slide then was trying to figure out how each of the images went with the category circled and was having some trouble...it made me stretch my interpretation of the meanings of the categories.

Your presentation was very interesting. I don’t know much about art, so it was fun learning the different purposes.

I like how many examples you give. There is a lot of variety in the artwork so the students can see the differences. The only suggestion I would have is to include 'why this artwork is this for this purpose', unless you are planning on discussing it in class during the presentation.

Does anyone know if voicethread allows animations or transitions. I made a power point with timed transitions and I cannot post working transitions nor the whole presentation.

So are we finding out that voice thread is easier or more functional than slideshare...or just different? I’m glad you keep trying things out and explaining them to the rest of us newbies!

    Hi,
This is good information for the budding artist. Keep up the good work! John S.
