Everything has it’s purpose. The English School System had its purpose and that’s why it came about. But is it still serving a purpose which benefits us?

English School System : Does The English School SystemWork Anymore?https://www.empowernetwork.com/harishpatel/blog/english- school- system- does- the- english- school- system- work- anymore/ February 11, 2013Harish PatelEverything has it’s purpose. The English School System had its purpose andthat’s why it came about. But is it still serving a purpose which benefits us?English School SystemLet’s take a step back beforewe look into the EnglishSchool System. We had theIndustrial Revolution back inthe 1700s, which began inBritain. Before then manufacturingwas a task that had to bedone at home where basictools were used. All thatobviously changed when theIndustrial Revolution came in.Some say that this was a required step to get to where we are today. But whatwere the effects of the Industrial Revolution? Were we conditioned to alifestyle? To a lifestyle where we worked with machines from 9-5.Could this have been a turning point in our history? Did we tip the scales from doing what we wanted to do to just working for money?Maybe we were not doing exactly what we wanted to do but we weren’t all justworking for money before.
  • 2. working for money before. The Industrial Revolution moved us forward technologically. Whathappened to the “English School System” due to the Industrial Revolution? Doyou think the English School System conditioned us in the same way as theIndustrial Revolution? To condition us to the 9-5 system? At the time it musthave felt like the right thing to do.But what have we become due to the current English School System? Have webecome clogs within the wheel of our own system? Slaves to our own system?Shouldn’t we be independent creators taught to create somethingmagical?Let’s look at people that broke out of the System. From example Steve Jobsdropped out of college and look at what he accomplished. The English School System only teaches you how to be a good 9-5 employee. With more and more tests we are just getting more conditioned. Where is thecreativity? At the same time parents are pressured to get the best EnglishSchool System conditioning for their child. Those better test results will justmake you a better 9-5 employee.Do you want your children to go through the same thing? The thing is children can’t learn to be good listeners if they don’t have goodmodels to copy. Your children will copy you no matter what you tell them.Become the model you want your child to copy.Don’t accept the 9-5 conditioning. Become the independent creator which willinspire your child. If you really want to become the independent creator, then follow the peoplethat are already doing this.
