    1. West Ferris S.S. International Development Projects
    2. A Sri Lankan family devastated by the Tsunami Dec 26 th 2004.
    3. West Ferris forms a link with the Wadduwa Lions Club of Sri Lanka and pledges to help rebuild shattered lives.
    4. A penny campaign begins…
    5. In 3months the funds are raised… $5423.00. Enough for a new home
    6. The Wadduwa Lions Club begins construction of the house in the village of Molligoda Sri Lanka.
    7. The finished project
    8. No Longer homeless. Thanks to the students ,staff and friends of West Ferris Secondary School
    9. Our new friends The Lions Club of Wadduwa
    10. 2007-2008 Development Project
      • A maternity clinic in the village of Molligoda Sri Lanka
      • Funded by West Ferris Secondary School
      • Marshall Park, Tweedsmuir, Silver Birches, M.T. Davidson, Ferris Glen Public school and St. Hubert School
      • And the citizens of North Bay
    11. Elementary schools join the penny campaign
    12. Reviewing plans for the construction of the maternity clinic in the village of Molligoda Sri Lanka
    13. Waiting for the end of the rainy season
    14. Laying the ceremonial foundation stone
    15. Preparing the site
    16. The excavation begins
    17. The foundation has been poured
    18. The walls begin to rise
    19. The walls are finished
    20. Work begins on the roof
    21. Building the roof
    22. The cement veranda supports are put in place
    23. The enclosed clinic
    24. The finishing touches
    25. The opening ceremonies begin April 6 th 2008
    26. Buddhist Monks arrive to bless the ceremonies
    27. Mr Beddage from the Ferris Lions Club is the honoured guest at the opening ceremonies.
    28. Mr Beddage thanks the Wadduwa Lions Club for all of their hard work on behalf of the citizens of North Bay
    29. The guests listen to the address by Mr. Beddage
    30. The Wadduwa Lions Club project chairman Sumane Rathnatsuriya addresses the guests
