  3. 3.  Amway stands for American company. Selling makeup and vitamins to friends and family is a way of life at Amway international. One of the world’s largest direct-sales business , Amway boasts more than 3 million independent consultants who sell its catalolog of more than 450 personal care , homecare ,nutrition , and commercial products.
  4. 4.  It markets products and services of other companies in more than 80 countries. Revival-like tecniques are used to motivate its distributers to sell its products and find new recruits. Amway expanded overseas to Australia in 1971,to Europe in 1973,to parts of Asia in 1974,to Japan in 1979,to Latin America in 1985, To China in 1995,to Africa in 1997 and to India and Scandinavia in 1998,to Russia in 2005,and to vietnam in 2008.
