  • 1. The Bridge Builder Will Allen Dromgoole The message in The Bridge Builder is one of character in charity and consideration. Consequently, I view this work as a good foundation for an anticipatory set for one of those character words. In addition, I think it would be the most useful to the younger grades of 2-3. During this time kids are often self oriented. It is a good idea to increase their understanding of how their actions can positively or negatively affect others. Furthermore, I would be able to incorporate this into a science lesson on the laws of motion. Specifically how energy is transferred from one object to another. This demonstration would really increase the student’s ability to comprehend this concept.
