Year B: 2nd Sunday Ordinary Time (John 1:35-42) - Presentation Transcript

    1. John 1:35-42
    2. Jesus asked the two disciples who followed Him: “What are you looking for?”
    3. Jesus asks each of us the same question: “What are you looking for?”
    4. What are you aiming for and trying to get out of your life?
    5. There is only one thing we need to look for - intimate union with God and doing His will.
    6. If we know at the beginning where we want to go, we'll probably get there. If we don't, we'll probably get lost.
    7. "Come and see," says Jesus to the disciples. Jesus invited them to be with him as a response to their deepest longing.
    8. "Come and see" is an invitation to have intimate union with God.
