  • ======= Missing slide – Key Design Principles of On Demand Solutions ======Key criteria for our On Demand solutions includeUser experience – so that our products are easy to learn and adopt – cloud applications need an extremely high adoption rate to be successfulSimplicity – Role-specific and intuitive. Configuration is business driven. We constantly are seeking feedback from customers to understand how easy our applications are to work with from a customer perspective – how easy they are to understandPersonalization, adaptability, extensibility – our customers want to be able to tweak, tune, and adapt applications to suit individual preferences and company needs while not blocking the ability of SAP to do a fast upgrade cycle in a software as a service modeHigh performance – SAP’s OnDemand apps will be adopting In Memory database technologyMassively scalable – technical infrastructure and multi tenancy to make sure that these applications scale to meet user demand.============== On Demand Portfolio ==================Target Groups for OnDemand SolutionsCompanies, Departments, PeopleWe are offering full suite (SAP Business ByDesign) to small and midsize companies and for subsidiaries of large enterprises. We are also working with partners to provide industry extensions of the full suite. We are offering dedicated solutions to line of business in large enterprises that work in a hybrid architecture integrating with on premise SAP Business Suite. The most prominent of these right now is SAP Sales OnDemand. Travel OnDemand comes in Q3. SAP Carbon Impact OnDemand and SAP Sourcing OnDemand are in the market already. We are seeing a large appetite for these kinds of solutions in the install base. We will make sure they are seamlessly integrated as we find this to e a differentiating feature compared to independent SaaS vendors with point solutionsFor personal productivity and analytics we offer SAP Business Objects BI OnDemand and SAP StreamWork.
  • We are offering a platform as a service to solution partners where they can sign up for their own development tenants to create applications that add-on to SAP Business ByDesign. We have some partners working through an early release program with us now, and shortly we will be able to roll this program out to even more partners in a bigger way.
