Toprepare for the trip, you make a list of the things you need totake with you.As a participant in the Project Learning Institute, you willneed to start by acquainting yourself with the Institute’slearning components, their requirements, and some technicalconsiderations.
  5. 5. ©2008, Oracle Education Foundation • All Rights Reserved.5Institute ComponentsWelcome to the Project Learning InstituteThe Institute is organized into three learning components:• Virtual Training: This 6-week online training period willprovide a baseline understanding of 21st century skills andproject learning, and will enable you to start developing alearning project that you will facilitate with your studentsafter the course.• In-Class Training: This is the opportunity for you to meetyour peers face-to-face for four days and continuedeveloping your learning project for implementation inyour school.• Implementation: Back at your school, you will conductyour learning project with your students, supported byyour peers and the Oracle Education Foundation staff.
