  • 2. Biography/ history of their career
    • Stéphane Sednaoui (born in Paris, France) is a French-American photographer, director and producer whose work includes music videos, art projects, photographic essays, portrait photography, fashion photography and photojournalism.
    • After is first break through in France for NTM (1990) his next success was in the US with the 1992 MTV Video Music Award for the Red Hot Chili Peppers' “Give it Away" (1991) video. He then signed on with Steve Golin’s Propaganda films . His subsequent work has come to be regarded as some of the most memorable of the medium.

    • Sednaoui likes to incorporate a lot of his own photography into his music videos. He also like to create a lot of abstract work, to get the audience thinking of deeper meanings.

  • 11. what aspects might inspire your own work?
    • Sednaoui in most videos will use photographs to break up one continuous footage.
    • So In my music video I could use photographs in between shots .
  • 12. Why do you think they are iconic?
    • Sednaoui’s videos are iconic because most of them are very abstract and don’t have a concept that is straight forward, this get the audience thinking about other things rather just than the lyrics.
