  • 3. Тематический настрой T- Tell me, please, what is the weather outside? Ps – It’s cold and wet. T – Do you like such weather? Ps – Yes/No T – And what weather do you like? Ps- We like when it’s warm and sunny. T – Great! I like this kind of weather as well. When do we usually have such weather? Ps – In summer! T – right you are! Do you like summertime? Ps – Yes! T – And what can we do in such a weather in summer? Ps – We can go for a walk/We can play in the street. T – Yes, and would you like to know what else you can do? Ps – Yes! T – Ok, then let’s watch a presentation and find out.
  • 4. We are going outside. The weather is fine? Sunny time, no place to hide. The weather is fine! Not a cloud, sky is bright. Wind is trifling. The weather is fine. On such a day a picnic’s right!

    • Ps – We enjoyed it!
    • T – Have you found something new in it?
    • Ps – Yes, now we know that in such a weather we can a picnic.
    • T – Ok. Does the author like such weather?
    • Ps – yes, of course!
    • T – why do you think so?
    • Ps – Because he repeats the line “The weather is fine” some times.
    • T – Great that you noticed it.

    • T – So you have already mentioned that the author repeats one and the same line for several times, isn’t it interesting?
    • Ps – Yes, it is. It seems strange.
    • T – In fact this kind of poem is called a Rondelle.
    • Ps – cool. What does it mean?
    • T – It is translated as “oval”. In such a poem 2nd, 4th and 7 th lines are the same and they represent themain thought of the author.
    • Ps – that’s unusual and interesting.
    • T – No doubt.

    • Ps – not always.
    • T – And what can you do when it is not nice?

    • T – Great! Let’s write down activities to occupy yourself with during different weather.

    • T – Now that we’ve thought it over and have found other possible variants of spending time in different weather, let’s try and write our own rondelle. You have 15 minutes to create it and after that you will read it out for us.
    • (Ps are suggested to listen carefully and choose the best poem. The criteria of a poem is to be written according to the standard)
