Holland Aviation Consultancy & Engineering provides your organization with a qualified Human Factors trainer, who is trained by the Aerospace Phycology Group at Trinity College in Dublin (Ireland).

By means of a Human Factors analysis, the status of Human Factors awareness within your organization will be determined.
Input for this analysis is an online questionnaire, a review of your internal company audit reports and interviews with your employees.
Your employees can participate in an online Human Factors questionnaire. The more employees participate, the more accurate your company profile will be. Your organization will receive the analysis, your company’s Human Factors profile and a plan of approach for a Human Factors Workshop per regular mail.
The next step will be a meeting with the Human Factors trainer from HACE, to determine if interviews with employees and reviews of internal audit reports can contribute to the input for the Human Factors Workshop.
The conclusion and subjects for improvement of your organization’s level of Human Factors awareness, will be incorpor ated in a fun, interactive and informative Human Factors Classroom Training Course.

    • Human Factors in Aviation MaintenanceWhat are “Human Factors”?According to the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Human Factorsare considered to be: “Principles which seek safe interface between thehuman and other system components by proper consideration of HumanPerformance”.Simplified: Human Factors are all factors which can influence theperformance of a human being. Why should we be trained in HumanFactors awareness?People are unique but have their limitations. These limitations can influencethe performance of the individual, the team or the organization. By trainingpeople in Human Factors, they become more aware of the influence enconsequences of the performance limitations related to tasks, individuals, teams and the organization. By taking the performance limitations and theireffects in account, a safety culture will come into existence, which willreduce the risks of incidents and accidents within your organization. It is required by the aviation regulations (e.g. EASA, FAA FAR 145) thatHuman Factors training must be included in the training program of(technical) aviation organizations.
