  • 3-D Direct Response Project: Barclays Global Investors Problem: Contact Fortune 500 HR managers to expand BGI’s pension plan fund base. Solution: To appeal to HR managers, I wrote a headline for the box, “401(k) spoken here.” Inside, a personalized letter invited the prospect to call a toll-free number to schedule an appointment with a Barclays rep. The box contained 1/2 of a set of two-way walky-talky radios with the headline “Let’s Open a Line of Communication.” Cost: 20 hours = $2,000
  • 3-D Direct Response Project: Barclays Global Investors funds. Results : A 20% response rate. Of those, 25% agreed to an appointment with BGI, resulting in several million dollars in invested 401(k) pension funds.
