Set up the presentation ahead of time, so you can have a smooth start.

Hit the “B” key to blacken the screen during your slide show.
(or the “W” key to create a white screen.)
Hit the “B” or “W” key again to resume.

“ Control A” displays the cursor that you can use as a pointer during slide show.
“ Control H” hides it.

In Slideshow View, right click and mark any slides as “hidden.”
These will not show when you deliver the slideshow, unless you press the “H” key to reveal them.
Great for detailed slides you may choose to use or not.

During Slideshow, just hit the desired slide number and “enter.”

Don’t exit from Slideshow view.
Once you exit, your desktop is visible and you can no longer navigate throughout your presentation.
