    Correspondence and distance learning Management of Business Administration (MBA) courses are pursued without attending lecture physically on campus.
    The candidate is handed over the study material and intimated on the exam time table.
    It is a 3 year course. Nowadays distance learning has taken a new form with Virtual Classroom coming in, In a virtual classroom institutions broadcast lectures and any individual with Internet connectivity meeting certain specifications can attend lectures online in Real time.
    Popular amongst those who cannot quit working to do a full time MBA and whose work does not permit availability for a part time course.
  • 4. Job Prospects:
    It acts as a value adder on your resume but rarely will it be a cut throat winner for you. Many employers do not recognize correspondence MBA as a preferred qualification.
    Correspondence MBA does not involve the competition for a full time MBA seat in India due to lack of an entrance test. (majority of the institutes have a walk-in admission process)
    The aspect of peer to peer learning is missing as there is no classroom or networking opportunities.
  • 5. Financing Correspondence MBA:
    The course would cost you anything between 20,000 to 50,000 annually.
    Availing of bank loans for pursuing correspondence courses is difficult as many of the courses are not recognized by financial institutions.
