Why GWP-SEA ToolBox was developed
Issue - How do we motivate users to study the “IWRM Tools” in GWP ToolBox & get them to contribute cases and become part of a “ToolBox Community”?
1. Create situations and incentives for users to study the “tools” on their own.
2. Use IT to make the iterative process of case writing, editing, submission and review relatively painless.
3. Make users register as part of the ToolBox Community and give them personal access to their IWRM-related CV and submitted cases.

1. Case Study Submission Web-Form
The task of writing and reviewing a Case Study is now simplified to answering & reviewing a series of topical questions given in a web-based form and making selections from a series of “drop-down” lists.
2. Personal access to cases - Case writers have access to their own cases and can edit them at any time . They can upload files, images and web-links related to their cases.
3. Grouping of cases by 16 Themes, 54 Tools, Countries
4. Advanced Search Facility – “Form Query” Search

Regional TOT on IWRM

2008 - 2009 Activities
1. Activation of seven remaining country ToolBox websites, content development of country ToolBoxes
2. Conduct of regional and national training workshops on IWRM including the GWP and GWP-SEA TB websites
3. Translation of IWRM materials and ToolBox cases to local languages (e.g. book in Vietnam, CD in Cambodia)
4. Identification, writing and submission of more ToolBox cases to GWP-SEA and GWP TB websites
5. Begin online coaching for country focal persons/website administrators including review of existing ToolBox cases

Jan-June 2010 Activities
1. Continue online coaching of and give website administration rights to country focal persons. Ongoing content development of country ToolBoxes
2. Finish review of existing GWP SEA ToolBox cases. Revise homepage of GWP SEA ToolBox website
3. Submit to GWP ToolBox translation of IWRM materials and ToolBox cases into local languages (e.g. book in Vietnam, CD in Cambodia)
4. Identify cases for submission to GWP and GWP-SEA TB websites .
5. Assist in the conduct of national training workshops on IWRM including the GWP and GWP-SEA TB websites.

6. Present GWP SEA ToolBox Initiative to Ms. Ania Grobicki, GWP Executive Secretary, during her visit to Manila on 24 May 2010.

7. Soft launching of GWP SEA ToolBox Website on 8 June 2010 during 20 th GWP SEA SC meeting. Plan for launching during SEA Day at ADB Water Week.
