Decorated DragonA statue of a mythical creature, bronze period, warring states during Eastern Zhou Dynasty(770-250 BC), covered in gold, eyes adorned with precious stones. The statue is made inthe style of Impressionism illustrating excellence in art. The item most probably belongedto a senior member of the Emperor’s family. Weight: 2,197gSize in mm 278х139х139 Diagonal total size in mm 340,47912. A Pair of Bronze Mythical CreaturesPhoenix male and female creatures with wings. According to ancient legends it is said that theycan fight evil. Belongs to the period of warring States, Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770-250 BC). Veryunique and fine style of handmade art. Eyes were decorated with precious stones that did notsurvive. An excellent example of ancient Chinese art.   • 2. 3. A Person on a DragonBronze sculpture of a person on a dragon. From the period of warring Kingdoms. Eastern ZhouDynasty (770-250 BC). The figure is decorated with gold plating and silver. The statue has amythological significance since the dragon symbolized Imperial Power and their longevity as wellas eternal life of the Emperor. Bronze Lamp in the Shape of a Bull.The Lamp is decorated with gold and silver. The smoke from the lamp is directed into the emptybody through a curved horn.   • 4. 7. Bronze Figure of Bull on Top of a Female Figure.Decorated with gold and silver plated. Period of warring States during Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770 -250 BC). The figure has mythological and symbolic significance. Preserved in very good condition.Weight: 841 gSize in mm 109х30х75 Diagonal total size in mm 135,66878. Top part of Weapon.The top part of the weapon in the form of two-sided military axe. The bronze base has two bladesin the shape of two phases of the moon, which are made of Jade and are decorated with signs of theDeity Taute. It probably belonged to a senior member of the imperial family. There are no otherknown artifacts such as this made of bronze and partially of Jade. Bronze VesselThe vessel is decorated in gold and silver. Stems form the period of warring States, western Zhoudinasty770-250 BC. The base of the vessel is made in form of a tripod. The upper lid has four holesto disburse fragrances. An excellent example of ancient Chinese art, probably belonged to thefamily of the emperor.
