GAME RULES: The object of the game is to tell a tall tale using three key words, while providing so much vivid detail that other players have difficulty guessing the words. Each slide has three words. The tallest player in the room takes the first turn by clicking on a slide. No one else should look at the slide! After 10 seconds of thought, the sound of breaking glass alerts the player to tell a tall tale, including the three words from the slide.

GAME RULES cont: Make the tall tale as detailed as you possible can, but it must begin: “ I was taking my pet giraffe for a walk. . .” After 30 seconds, the sound of applause will alert the storyteller to stop telling the outrageous tale. When time is up, all the other players confer and jointly guess the hidden words. Only three guesses are allowed!

GAME RULES cont: For each word that isn’t guessed, the storyteller is awarded a letter of the word “GIRAFFE” Storytellers are not allowed to include lists of more than two items in a story and must admit it if they haven’t used all of their words. The next-tallest player takes the next turn as storyteller. The winner is the first player to completely spell the word “GIRAFFE”.
