  • 3. Where am I going? <ul><li>You can ride the bus anywhere you need to go in the city. </li></ul><ul><li>It will cost you $1.30 each time you ride. You need to have exact change. </li></ul><ul><li>You can go to school or the store or your friend’s house. </li></ul>END
  • 4. What times can I go? <ul><li>Every route runs at different times. You can get a book from any bus driver that lists the times for the specific routes you would like to use. </li></ul><ul><li>Most routes start around 5AM and end around 6PM but some routes go until 11PM. </li></ul>END
  • 5. Should I be there early? <ul><li>You should arrive at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. This ensures that if the bus is running a bit ahead of schedule that you will still be able to catch it. </li></ul>END
  • 6. How do I get to the grocery store? <ul><li>To get to the grocery store you will take the number 13 bus. </li></ul><ul><li>Get on the bus at Ionia and Oakes. This is on the corner outside of your apartment building at Weston Apartments. </li></ul>
  • 7. Grocery Store, cont. <ul><li>Take this bus until you get to Leonard and Fuller. You will see Family Fare Grocery </li></ul><ul><li>Store. </li></ul><ul><li>Pull the cord that hangs above the windows and this will signal the driver to stop. You should pull this cord when you see AutoZone. </li></ul>END
  • 8. How do I get to my parent’s house? <ul><li>Your mom and dad live at 3222 Crescent NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 </li></ul><ul><li>You should take the number 13 bus from Ionia and Oakes. This is the stop right in front of your apartment building. </li></ul>
  • 9. Parent’s house, cont. <ul><li>Pull the cord above the window to signal the bus driver to stop when you see Rylee’s Ace Hardware. </li></ul><ul><li>The bus will stop at Michigan and Fuller. </li></ul><ul><li>You should then get off the bus ad walk to Crescent street which is one block past Subway. Your parents house is the third one on the right. </li></ul>END

How do I get to school? <ul><li>School is at 1256 East Fulton NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 </li></ul><ul><li>Take the number 14 bus. </li></ul><ul><li>This stop will be directly in front of VanAndel Arena. This is 2 blocks south (to the right) of your apartment. </li></ul><ul><li>Take this bus all of the way to East Fulton and Plymouth. </li></ul>
  • 11. School, cont. <ul><li>You will want to pull the cord when you see Schnitz Deli sign of the guy with the funny moustache and hat. </li></ul><ul><li>Get off at Holland Home and carefully cross the street by following the crosswalk directions. </li></ul>END
  • 12. How do I get to work? <ul><li>You work at Burger King on Franklin and Division SE Grand Rapids, MI </li></ul><ul><li>Take the number 1 bus from Ottawa and Oakes. This is one block north (one block left) of your apartment. </li></ul>
  • 13. Work, cont. <ul><li>This bus will go directly to your work. </li></ul><ul><li>Pull the cord to signal the driver to stop when you see the sign for El Matador Chip Factory. This will allow for enough time for the driver to stop. </li></ul>END
  • 14. How do I get to my friend’s house? <ul><li>Your best friend lives at Old Orchard Apartments on Alpine Avenue. The address is 1027 4 Mile Road apartment number 6. </li></ul><ul><li>Take the number 9 bus. This will pick you up at Division and Fountain. This is 2 blocks north and 3 blocks west (2 blocks left then turn and go three more blocks left) of your apartment. </li></ul>
  • 15. Friend’s house, cont. <ul><li>Take this bus until you see the store called Target. When you see Target, pull the cord above the window to signal the driver to stop. </li></ul><ul><li>Get out and very carefully cross the street while paying very close attention to the crosswalk and any cars that are coming. </li></ul>END
