DO I NEED TO REGISTER THE NAME OF MY BUSINESS? IF SO HOW DO I GO ABOUT IT
In most of the cases for starting new business you need to register your business name.
If you operate your new business the only exception to this in most provinces under your legal name with no additions. You do not have to register the name in sole proprietorships or partnerships, in this province, Newfoundland and Labrador are exception to this general rule.
So if you are running business under your name “Ramnath Sing” you don’t want to register your business name.
In this you cannot include such as “Inc” or “Co” & Partners were it is going to be sole proprietorship. You cannot add anything that would give customers/clients a clue about what you do in your business. If you decide to call your business with something like “Ramnath sing & Co services” importantly you have to register your business even though still running in a sole proprietorship.
You not to pick anyone’s name here, but many people’s are easy to spell or catchy.
If the business uses a name other than the “owners” or a “company” the Business Number Act requires you to register the business name before starting a company using with it:

In your locality with full address of your company name and the name registration does not itself exclusive use of the name “Ramnath sing & Co services” with a request fee of Rs. 3000, the Ministry of Consumer & Commercial Relations will check the files and provide the address for any duplicates that may exist.
If you are registration your business you need to pay taxes on the revenue you generate from the business based upon the revenue you create. Depending on how your business makes you to consider creating a limited liability company you hold with.
