Objective:
To collect cat owners data and gather information about cat’s feeding habbits
Strategy:
To direct the cat owners to call center to collect detailed data in 3 weeks.
Execution:
By newspaper call out ads promising to give away the cat blanket as a gift, direct potential customers to call center where their detailed data will be collected by a 3 minute survey. According to the survey even who feeds the cat by home made foods gets free Whiskas for weekly amount.
Results:
In 3 weeks total collected cat owner data is 9089.

Nivea Baby - Migros Club Card Sales Promotion
Database:
Dynamic database ca.10.000 mothers with babies 0-36 months
Objective:
Test the reaction of the non-Nivea oriented data (from Milupa sources) to special promotions and usage of samples, purchase or continued use of samples
Target Audience:
Mothers with 0-12 month and 12-24 month babies
Strategy:
Divert the data to chain-markets for traceable purchases (using Migros Card), control the reaction with other outlets (local outlets) and non-promotional mailings.
Execution: 16 different mailings are prepared.

A personalised “Wake up card” were hanged to the doors of the customers wtih a personalised letter.
They are asked to wake their Shop&Miles Card and use it again.

Objective:

Konuşan Kart:

AIM Proximity, New Zealand Mini ‘Italian Job’ (Direct mail)
The Approach
The creative idea was to produce a Mini Cooper Owner’s Handbook – special Italian Job Edition. As well as containing tickets to the movie premier, the irreverent Handbook provides useful advice for the driver; from accelerating through stormwater drains, to negotiating stairways and platform to platform jumping. The invitation leveraged off the theme of the movie, and capitalised on Mini’s rebellious personality, unashamedly appealing to male drivers who want to break the rules of convention.
The Results
This DM to prospects had 100% RSVP .
The Background
Mini New Zealand wanted to reposition their brand to be more appealing to men, providing stronger differentiation from more 'female' skewed small cars in the premium bracket.
The Brief
With limited marketing budget and a re-positioning job to do, an ideal opportunity presented itself in the form of the classic movie remake - The Italian Job featuring a heist with the new MINI Cooper S as the getaway car. Our brief was to leverage the movie launch to generate excitement about the new Mini Cooper S amongst existing MINI owners and prospective male customers, using the movie premier to promote the male-orientated performance aspects of the vehicle.

DEC, Spain FUNDACIÓ Èxit, The cap and the coin.
The Background
The foundation is formed by social work entities, and by a group of Barcelona businesspeople. Is aim is to help young people who are in a situation of social risk get out of poverty.
The Brief
To alert Catalan entrepreneurs to the problems faced by this group of young people and encourage them to take part in the project.
Place youngsters participating in the project in companies on a practice basis or even a full time job.

DEC, Spain FUNDACIÓ Èxit, The cap and the coin.
The Approach
Business people received a box with the the text ‘This side up. Open here, and then on the other side’.
Inside the box was cap face-down with the message ‘I’m not asking for charity’ and the text read ‘Turn this box over to turn my life around’
When the box was opened on the other side the same cap appeared face-up with the message ‘Yes, I'm asking for work’.
The Results
The mailing was sent to 1000 contacts. 163 registered their interest in the programme out of which 106 business men gave work eperience to local young people. A conversion rate of 65.03%.
14 young people gained full time employment from the programme.

AIM Proximity, Auckland, New Zealand Bank of New Zealand: “Break New Ground”
The Background
In 1998 the Bank of New Zealand launched a dedicated farm-bank (agribusiness) with the customer proposition 'tailored financial solutions'. Although farmers are approached by banks all the time, re-financing from another bank is not undertaken lightly and farmers do not readily receive any bank's representatives onto their farms. The challenge therefore was getting the agribusiness managers beyond the farm gate so they could demonstrate their superior financial solutions.
The Brief
Generate $50 million in new lending.
Achieve 80 percent on-farm appointment rate.
The Approach
The strategy developed was for the prospect to be 'warmed-up' in preparation for the follow up 'phone call from the Agribusiness Manager. The creative direct mail pack was the ticket to get the manger on-farm by making the farmer stop and think 'Wow - this bank is really trying really hard to win my business'.
The choice of an authentic shovel for the mail pack device was one key to the success of the campaign because it immediately demonstrated to farmers the Bank's affinity with the rural market.
The Results
“ Shovel” has been an outstanding success.
It has turned the $100,000 campaign cost into $53,000,000 of new lending.
It has generated 980 on farm appointments (71%) and 45 new customers.
In terms of future business, it has put Bank of New Zealand at the top of the choice set for a further 90 farmers worth an estimated $100,000,000 in farm lending.
This campaign won 3 rd Place at the International John Caples Awards 2003.

The Approach
Using focus groups and by profiling our customer base, we identified sectors where SMEs would most benefit from a more powerful internet connection. The Creative Services industry was a prime target and 30,000 senior decision makers were targeted.
The mailer explained how the increased speed and efficiency you get from a broadband connection would improve the agency’s ability to respond to the demands of their clients, and help in meeting those challenging deadlines.
The swear box was offered as a temporary solution to the agency’s problem. It was designed to be retained on the decision maker’s desk, acting as a talking point long after the mailing had been discarded. As such, the main product benefits and call to action were printed on its reverse.
The Results
The call centre response rate of 17% was the best for any BT Openworld vertical sector campaign.
The swear box mailing also received coverage in the marketing press.
This campaign won 2 nd Place at the International John Caples Awards 2003.

The Background
In Polo’s run out year the car was looking tired and out-dated alongside the competition. The Polo Match, with air conditioning as standard, was launched to inject energy and appeal into the range over the summer months.
The Brief
Drive prospects into their retailer to test drive Polo Match and subsequently generate sales.
The Approach
Air conditioning was the important feature to focus on as this, and the price, differentiated the offer. The key creative thought was that air-conditioning keeps you cool in Summer (the pack was mailed in August).
To dramatize this, a frosty blue, rubber freezer tray molded to create Polo shaped ice cubes was manufactured - a lasting reminder of the campaign and brand, with a permanent practical benefit.
The Results
Nearly 12,000 responses were generated. The overall response rate to the campaign was 6.17% against a target of 4%.
Polo run out was a success with all the tactical Polo Match models sold and overall Polo sales exceeding target in 2001.
This campaign won 3 rd Place at the International John Caples Awards 2003.
