    Front of House is where product is assembled and customers are served.

    The workstation has three stations:
    Cashier Shot-puller Milk steamer

    Back of House is used for storage of inventory and food preparation.

    Customers are dealt with in FIFO system.
    Single line, multiple phase queuing system.
  • 9. Service Bottleneck
    The bottleneck often occurs at the espresso machine.
    It takes 30 seconds for the machine to produce 2 shots of espresso, and has a maximum capacity of 4 shots at a time.

    Waiting psychology is employed to keep customers occupied and happy while in line.
