What is involved in the work? <ul><li>Basically what’s involved in being a Fashion Retailer is that you need to be able to keep up with the latest fashion trends in order to have a successful business. Which means you need to be able to manage money and store items. You also need to keep your store attractive and appealing. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Where does the work take place? <ul><li>The work takes place at the store or place where you wish to buy and make your retail store, so this means you need to chose a appropriate and big enough store for all your items and in a way that is easy and nice for your customers to move around. </li></ul>
  4. 4. What are the working conditions? <ul><li>The conditions are that you will probably have to work on the weekends, close to holidays, and other special occasions in order to get more customers and make more money. Another condition would be keeping everything up to date with fashions, the store and other necessity items. </li></ul>
  5. 5. What type of training is needed to enter in the field? <ul><li>Well you can just have a high school diploma but it is very recommended that you have a college degree in either or both retail management or fashion merchandising or any degree in that sort of field. </li></ul>
  6. 6. What are the possibilities of moving to a higher position? <ul><li>Well If you own your own store that would make you the highest position. So that means that the owner and manager of the store would be the highest. </li></ul>

What can you expect to earn when you start? <ul><li>Well in the beginning if you open up your own store then it might be not as much money in the beginning like 25,000 dollars or more a year but as your business gets more advertisement and new stuff then it will progress and you can really make more than 100,000 dollars a year if your business goes well. </li></ul>

Is the Field growing? <ul><li>The Future prospects of someone who is a Fashion Retailer is that you can make money and get your store advertised in order to make money. But the career field would be growing because of the things you sale and the advertisement you get. </li></ul>
  9. 9. How do you use writing and/or reading skills in this field? <ul><li>To record sales, order things from other companies, and etc. </li></ul>
