Talk about different traditions. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>go see many certain movies to improve listening skills then summarizing it orally and written. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Fieldtrips are excellent for ESL and immigrant studnets becuase they are not only learning a new language but also a new culture!!! </li></ul>
  6. 6. An activity related to technology <ul><li>as we all know, ESL classroom contains many respective religions that your child will interact with. In this activity, studnets are expected to: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>be assigned a religion </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>go on the interent and do research about it </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>make a powerpoint presentation with a help of a tutor in school </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>then, share it with the class on my projector. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul>
  7. 7. what do we do in language arts? <ul><ul><li>improve writing skills </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>make a connection between writing and grammar </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>integrate the ESL studnets with other subjects becuase if they are not making progress in language arts, they can never improve in other subjects areas.   </li></ul></ul>
