Information is derived from our associates and clients to provide “inside” information on hotels, destinations and other issues.     8. 19. <ul><li>Is there any cost to use your services? </li></ul><ul><li>There is never any cost or fee to use the HelmsBriscoe (HB) site-selection service. We receive a placement fee from the hotel (similar to the way a real estate agent works). We also never require a contract for you to work with us. Therefore, you are under no obligation to use our services. We are confident you will see first-hand all the benefits we can bring to your group. </li></ul><ul><li>Doesn't the hotel mark up the rate to cover your placement fee? </li></ul><ul><li>If the rates we get are higher than yours, you won't use our services! And since we don't require a contract, you'd thank us for our time and walk away. Therefore, our goal is to get the same or better rates without any markup. </li></ul><ul><li>We act like a large external sales force for the hotels. The placement fee is planned part of their marketing budget. Rather than hire additional people with salaries and benefits, they outsource to external associations like HelmsBriscoe. Hotels also prefer to work with HB because they have one organization to go to that brings them a significant portion of their business. It's easier to work with one company than to solicit out to hundreds of individual companies and organizations like yours. Many times rates are lower than what an individual organization can get BECAUSE HelmsBriscoe has brought the hotel the business. </li></ul>

We can work with any hotel in the world, and our hotel selection is driven by your needs, you may need a more budget-oriented hotel for sales meetings while you may want to wow your clients with a luxury hotel for incentive trips. This allows us to be CLIENT driven and find the best fit for your needs. </li></ul><ul><li>What are some of the benefits of using HelmsBriscoe for hotel site search? </li></ul><ul><li>Our sheer purchasing power. Our 22,000 clients place over a million dollars in hotel revenue EACH DAY--the largest procurer of hotel space. We rely on our network of associates for feedback on hotels and destinations in order to recommend the perfect hotels for your needs.
