  2. 2. <ul><li>Judaism begin about 4000 years ago with the Hebrew people in the mode East </li></ul>HOW DID JUDAISM BEGIN?
  3. 3. <ul><li>Abraham was Hebrew man i considered the father of the Jewish religion. </li></ul><ul><li>His live has named Sara, they were old and children, but God told them that their children would be as plentiful as the stars would live in a promised land. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>In the faith Jewish only there is a God. </li></ul><ul><li>The Jewish religion is one of the three oldest monotheistic religions, the Judaism has fewer followers than the three monotheistic religions </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>The practice of Judaism is based on the teachings of the Torah is the sacred book of the Jews. The books written in the Torah contribute to divine inspiration. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Jewish faith is based on the believe omniscience and omnipotent God who had created the universe and the Jews chose to reveal the law of ten Commandments. </li></ul><ul><li>The rules of these texts are the guide of life of the Jews. God promised the Israelites the promised land. </li></ul>

The ten commandments, as written in the Torah, are: <ul><li>Worship no other God but me </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t make images to worship </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t misuse the name of God </li></ul><ul><li>Observe the Sabbath Day (Saturday) Keep it Holy </li></ul><ul><li>Honor and respect your father and mother </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t murder </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t commit adultery </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t steal </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t accuse anyone falsely. Don’t tell lies about other people </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t envy other’s possessions </li></ul>
  8. 8. <ul><li>Israel itself is a very sacred place to Jewish people. </li></ul><ul><li>In particular, Jerusalem is important because it is the ancient capital of Israel and the site of the original temple. </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>Jewish people worship in synagogues. A synagogues is a center for Jewish life. </li></ul>
