Chautuaqua Lake I started kayaking on Chautauqua Lake each summer when I stayed at my friend’s cottage. I usually rented a kayak for the whole week. Now I have my own house on Chautauqua Lake and two kayaks so I can invite a friend to come with me!

Camp Hi I belong to Hi Rise Ski Club and we’ve held outings to Camp Hi for the past three years. Some people rent canoes, but I prefer to kayak so I can be in control of where I’m going.

Mohican River I’ve kayaked the Mohican River three or four times. Once when camping at the State Park with my parents, during a rainy weekend, I got up early on Sunday - the only day it didn’t rain - and kayaked before we left to go home.

Presque Isle RoseAnn, Lisa and I met at Presque Isle to join a guided kayak trip run by the Lake County Park Department. The Kayaks were molded plastic that we sat on rather than in. We stayed mostly in the canals but also paddled in Lake Erie.
