What biotechnology can do? <ul><li>Sequence the human genome, as well as genome of flies, worms, mice and many other bacteria. </li></ul><ul><li>Can cut chromosomes in specified places using enzymes that works as “ molecular scissors”. </li></ul><ul><li>Insert a new genes in chromosomes. </li></ul><ul><li>Use proteins to start or stop the transcription of DNA into RNA and proteins. </li></ul>
