  • Mitad del Mundo Mitad del Mundo translates to middle of the world. This monument was built to mark the point where the equator passes through. The Mitad del Mundo stands thirty feet tall and was built between the years 1979 and 1982.

    Fly to San Cristobal Island

  • Excursion to Junco Lake
    El Junco Lake is located at the center of San Cristobal Island and is one of the few fresh water lakes in the Galapagos.
  • Day 4
    Lobos Island Excursion
    Full day excursion to Lobos Island
  • See sea lions, Kicker Rock, boobies, and frigate birds
    Kicker Rock is also known as sleeping sea lion rock or Léon Dormido.
  • Snorkeling Adventure
  • See rays, seals, iguanas, and multicolored fish

  • Day 5
    San Cristobal Island & Santa Cruz Island

  • Lava Tunnels
    When lava flows the outer part of the stream gets cold and hardens, but the liquid magma within continues flowing. When it is empty tubes are left behind. This is what happened in Santa Cruz Island several times, leaving an island full of lava tunnels. The most frequently visited is the "Tunnel of Endless Love", it is named this because of the heart shaped hole in the roof of it.

  • Guided Sightseeing Tour of Punta Estrada
  • Visit The Wall of Tears
    Between 1946 and 1959 Isabela was a penal colony, where prisoners were forced to build a wall with huge blocks of lava as punishment. Due to the harsh conditions in which the prisoners lived and worked, this site is known as the Wall of Tears. A set of stairs provides an amazing view of the wall and the surrounding landscape.

    Cape Rose Excursion
  • Cape Rose
    Prepare yourself for one of the best days of your trip! After navigation aboard a typical fisherman boat for an hour and a half from Puerto Villamil, you will reach Cape Rosa or Finado Bay on the western side of the island. This is one of the most beautiful places nature has bestowed upon humankind. Here you can walk over the connected lava tunnels situated in the blue sea waters.
