    5.     QUIZZES, TESTS & EXAMS

      • There will be one major exam per semester covering everything learned from the beginning of the course to that point in time. Exams are scheduled during the end of the cycle. There will be tests on every unit in the syllabus. Tests will be preannounced.  All tests are worth a minimum of 100 points. Quizzes may or may not be preannounced and will take up to 20 minutes to complete. They will be small in the scope of material that they cover. 
    6.       PAPERS & PROJECTS

      • There will be one project per section on the syllabus. Some projects will be done in small groups, others will be done individually. At the time the assignment is distributed, the size of the group applicable to the project will be announced. 
      •  
      • There are no planned papers for this course, although in some cases, for extra credit, the instructor may deem a paper appropriate.
      • A reading report is due once a week.
    7.       ATTENDANCE & TARDINESS POLICY
      •  
      • In order to learn all of the material taught,  students are required to attend 80% of the classes throughout the cycle. Studenets are urged to come to all classes.
