    8. 8. ADN-This is a 2-year degree. Nurses with this degree usually cannot become managers or take on more responsibilities without further training.<br />RN-This is a 4-year degree. Nurses with this degree often have a specialty such as a neonatal nursing degree of surgical nursing degree.<br />Nurse Practitioner-This is usually a RN with a master’s degree.
