  • 2. Introduction
    • This presentation will be about teaching tips and other ways to help teachers in the classroom. It shows easier ways to get things done and also faster. Being a teacher you have a lot on your plate. You have to worry about the children, grades, parents, other faculty, and yourself. So anything that can help would be great to any teacher. This is more focused on elementary teachers, but I am sure that higher grade teachers can use this also!

    • Something I really enjoy and can not wait to do as a teacher is doing a lesson plan based on the next holiday. This website also has ways you can do that. Here are some ways it helps to introduce Thanksgiving:
    • November and December are such fun times to be an elementary school teacher! Opportunities abound for holiday crafts, and your students are full of enthusiasm for the upcoming holidays.
    • In My Classroom
    • When I teach Thanksgiving in my classroom, I find so much joy in emphasizing the importance of gratitude during the weeks surrounding the holiday. I help my students write Thanksgiving acrostic poems to their parents, expressing specific things for which they are most thankful. I've also implemented charity drives that help the needy in our community whether through collecting cans or other creative means. Additionally, it's important to me to offer some insight and instruction on Pilgrims and the heritage of the Thanksgiving holiday

    • I am so glad that I know about this site before I become a teacher. This will help me so much and give me ways to introduce new things and ideas. It will help me learn how to do a correct lesson plan and what are good ways and bad ways to making a lesson plan. I would recommend this website to any teacher, especially new ones.

    • This website is not as helpful as the others, but it still provides great information for teachers. I feel like this would mostly just help new teachers, because after being a teacher for so long. You will get the hang of writing out lesson plans and involving your students.
  • 12. CONCLUSION
    • All of the websites I visited were very helpful and I plan on using them when I start my career. Being a new teacher, I will be able to use all the help I can get. The second website especially was very good, and provided a lot of information. It not only helped with lesson plans and rubrics, but it helped with how to deal with bad behaviors, and how to deal with the first day of school. Doing this Power Point really helped me understand what I need and I what I still need to do.
