Basic Information Temperatures range, in the summer, from 73 degrees to 68 degrees. Winter ranges are 68 degrees to 79 degrees. Natural boundary – Pacific Ocean Population – 944,720 as of July, 2008 Location – South West Pacific , between the South Pole and the equator West-South of Hawaii, about 2/3 of the way to New Zealand.
History It’s unknown who was the first inhabitants (Melanesian or Polynesian) Their heritage was kept through Oral Tradition The Melanesian race is dominate The islands have had skilled sailors throughout history
