  • 6. Copy and Paste Text From the Word Doc Into the Correct Fields The “brief description” is notated as “summary” on the Word doc (don’t include the word “summary”)
  • 7. The Very, Very Important “About the Author” Section The “about the author” section is critical because this is where the links are. If the links aren’t right - the article has no value to the client and that can be a disaster!
  • 8. The Very, Very Important “About the Author” Section DELETE the default text in the “about the author” section. Copy the “without HTML” author bio into the “text only field Copy the “with HTML” author bio into the “with HTML” field
  • 9. Choosing Categories Choose up to 3 categories that relate to the article These must relate to the article, otherwise, the article will be sent back and ask you to choose another category.
  • 10. Enter Keywords and Submit Enter keywords related to the article separated by commas. (These should be on the word doc) Ignore the “auto pilot” section Accept the agreements and click “next”
  • 11. Reviewing Your Article Next, you will be taken to this page to proof your article.
  • 12. Reviewing Your Article It is very common to see gobbly gook like this: This is due to formatting issues when converting apostrophes and dashes from Word to AM. Take note of these, then click “next”

  • 18. Submitting to eZine Before copying and pasting from Word, make sure the page looks like this. You want the WYSIWYG editor OFF when pasting in text.
  • 19. Submitting to eZine AFTER copying in the text, you can turn the WYSIWYG editor ON to enable the visual editor.

  • 21. Submitting to eZine Copy the HTML version of the author bio into the Author Sig box. Agree to the guidelines and submit
