  2. 2. <ul><li>My name is Rory Inouye. </li></ul><ul><li>I started school in 1994 in Hilo, Hawaii. </li></ul><ul><li>I graduated from high school in 2007 from Waiakea High School. </li></ul><ul><li>I first went to college at The University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2007 </li></ul><ul><li>When I finish my degree, I hope to become Secondary Education Math Teacher. </li></ul>

  6. 6. <ul><li>Voice Recognition software. </li></ul><ul><li>Overhead projectors and visuals to teach. </li></ul><ul><li>Laptops available and computers in every classroom. </li></ul><ul><li>Internet information is abundant. </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>Touch Screen Technology </li></ul><ul><li>Audio assistive technology </li></ul><ul><li>Multimedia software assist with teaching </li></ul><ul><li>Computer with internet access can easily be found. </li></ul>
  8. 8. <ul><li>Accessing data for research projects, information, and learning </li></ul><ul><li>Freely typing papers without worrying about mistakes </li></ul><ul><li>Assistive technology reducing stress to let me concentrate on the task at hand </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>ReadAloud technology </li></ul><ul><li>Assistive keyboards </li></ul><ul><li>Graphs, multimedia, real world information </li></ul><ul><li>Modified calculators, number stamps </li></ul>
  10. 10. <ul><li>I would like to see every student have laptops in school to have to access the internet, derive 6, ReadAloud, and other assistive technology. </li></ul>
  11. 11. <ul><li>Having EVERY student be able to use technology while keeping up with the classroom </li></ul><ul><li>Having students concentrate on the lesson </li></ul><ul><li>Having access for every student to use technology. </li></ul>
