  • Print out using NOTES PAGES to create a Facilitator’s Guide.
  • Must maintain quality of store environment during reset activities
  • ATG Selling in a 3 carrier world!, Right fit a customer to one of 3 carriers.
  • The Shack is getting ready for the holidays, and we have great things in store this November and December. Let’s review our holiday look in stores.
  • Our holiday look will include POP that has a holiday theme, such as the theme you see in the windows. Product will be hero. In mall locations we’ll use the 22x28 sign holders to house the messaging. We’ll also have snowflakes and these trees in the front window.
  • Our cash wrap will have messaging like you see here: The Shack thinks it’s the most wonderful time of the year, too. Now let’s review our holiday approach for media.
  • We are three main promotional periods over the next few months: November, the week of Black Friday, and December. Our main goal for the first three weeks of November is to build awareness and momentum for the holiday selling season. In our advertising, we’ll convey that The Shack has the best brands and best gifts for everyone on your list. The week of Black Friday, it’s all about driving customers to shop at The Shack for the hottest gifts at rock bottom prices. In other words, on the Friday after Thanksgiving, we want to attract a line of customers at every store. As we move into December, our advertising is less about creating awareness that RadioShack has the best brands and best gifts, and more about promoting specific offers so that customers shop at The Shack today, right now. Now let’s review our media schedule for November and December.
  • As you can see, we’re supporting holiday sales with a full media calendar during the holiday selling season. We’ll have Email and Digital advertising coverage all of Q4, plus continuous TV and Print coverage starting the week of November 2. Let’s take a closer look at each type of media we’ll have during November and December.
  • As I mentioned, we’ll have TV coverage beginning that first week of November. We have media schedules running in early morning shows, prime time, late night and during sports. Please be sure to watch for our spots that run during the shows you see here. We’ll run 15-second TV spots so that we have only one concise, simple message per spot, but we’ll also have multiple spots that run during one TV program.
  • We’ll also run our TV spots on the 10 of the top 20 cable TV networks, like Fox Sports Net, Discovery and the History Channel.
  • Our Hispanic television will also start the first week of November and run through December. The home office marketing team just finishing filming the holiday TV spots, so we don’t have any final commercials to see now. However, we do have a short video that should give you an idea of what’s to come this November and December. Let’s watch that now.
  • Click on the black screen to watch the video.
  • Did everybody like that? We’re really excited about what’s in store for us this holiday season. Okay, now let’s review our digital support. It’s estimated that over 75% of customers research a consumer electronics product online before buying, and so RadioShack needs to be top of mind where our customers are looking for the information. We’ll advertise on all these networks and websites in all of Q4, and our messaging online will be similar to our offline messaging like what you just saw in TV.
  • We’ll also have some unique online placements, such as on Facebook. Many of you might remember sitting on Santa’s lap when you were younger, much like the two children did in this photo. The Shack’s app will allow you to pick your scene… [advance to next slide]
  • Then pick your face from one of your profile photos, plus pick a product… [Advance to next slide]
  • And insert your face into the scene… Pretty funny? We hope so. This ad will then appear on your friends’ Facebook pages. RadioShack has a Facebook page, where we’ll upload our TV commercials and communicate with our fans on occasion. We encourage you to log onto Facebook and become a Fan of RadioShack. Just search for us under “RadioShack” to find us and become a fan.
  • Okay, now let’s quickly review our print plan. As part of our brand re-launch, we were able to negotiate a great rate on newspaper ROP advertising for the balance of the year. We’ll have ads in these newspapers through the end of the year.
  • As you can see, we’ll also have insert coverage every Sunday starting November 1 through the last Sunday in December. We’ll also have inserts that run on Thanksgiving Day and on Christmas Day. Red Plum (formally known as ADVO) will also run in select markets; these inserts are delivered directly to a customer’s home. The last topic I’d like to cover today is Black Friday.
  • This year we have decided not to have Black Friday. Everybody has a Black Friday, and because of that nobody stands out. But we can stand out. Instead… [Advance to the next slide]
  • We’re going to have Shack Friday! Only The Shack can have Shack Friday, and our customers will soon see it, too. Is everybody okay with Shack Friday this year? Shack Friday is also special for another reason. It’s special because this year, … [Advance to the next slide]
  • Every store gets covered with an insert! We’re really excited to announce that all company stores will have some kind of insert coverage for Black Friday. If you recall, I mentioned earlier that our goal for the week of Thanksgiving is to attract a line at every store, so we thought that covering all stores with an insert would help us achieve that goal. More details are to come, but in the meantime, right now is the time for us to get ready for a great Q4. Right Now is the time for us to get our stores ready, to recruit, hire and train our associates and to have a fantastic holiday selling season.
  • This is a very exciting handset with a 3 inch display , five megapixel camera with autofocus, mediaflo video, wi-fi, and a huge 8 gigabytes of internal memory, in addition to support for another 32 gigs of microSD memory. Or the App Catalog, which gives you a choice of titles to download, many of which are integrated with other apps on the phone. And the ability to keep multiple applications open at once, so you can do more than one thing without losing your place When you think about communicating, you think about the person. Messenger and continue it by text message when you're out at lunch or out for the night. 3 With Palm Pixi, your conversations with one person are combined in a single chat-style view. You live one life, so why not go to one place for your calendars? And easily add public calendars, such as ones for sports teams, events, or TV shows. Get your personal email from accounts like Gmail ™ , Windows Live ™ Hotmail ® , and Yahoo! Mail. And stay in touch with work by checking email from Microsoft ® Exchange, POP, or IMAP accounts Browse the App Catalog from your phone and download apps right over the air. 3 Choose from a variety of titles designed for the Palm webOS, many of which work together with other apps on the phone. Palm Services automatically backs up your phone so you have a copy of your important data. You can also remotely erase your data if your phone is lost or stolen. And you get software updates that make it easy to stay up to date with the latest enhancements.
