    • Attraction and satisfaction are the twin keywords of Australia Business Culture Etiquette .
    • Australians are not very formal so greetings are casual and relaxed.
    • A handshake and smile suffices.
    • Aussies prefer to use first names, even at the initial meeting.
    • Punctuality is important in business situations. It is better to arrive a few minutes early than to keep someone waiting.
  • 2. DRESSINGS
    • In corporate Australia, standard business dress is still very much the norm.
    • Dark suits and ties are the standard dress for management level businessmen with women wearing business suits with either skirts or trousers.
  • 3. GREETINGS & COURTESIES
    • The appropriate greeting for both women and men is smiling, making eye contact, and shaking hands.
    • Handshakes are generally firm and brief, with a rapid, simple up-and-down motion.
